HerMD is seeking two part-time registered Ultrasound Technologists to join our new women’s healthcare practices!

We are looking for exceptional candidates for our Berry Farms (Nashville), TN, location and for our Carmel (Indianapolis), IN, location! The ideal candidates are experienced professionals who are certified in abdominal and gynecologic sonography. The successful candidates will communicate clearly and frequently with our team to ensure the highest level of care for our patients. These are part-time positions consisting of 3 days per week with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as our patient volume increases.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct examinations.
  • Recognize and record the appropriate anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and control all ultrasound equipment.
  • Explain ultrasound procedures to patients so they feel comfortable with the experience.
  • Alert appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that need immediate attention.
  • Use the ability to solve problems and make decisions.

HerMD is seeking a full-time Practice Manager for our new Berry Farms (Nashville), TN, and  Carmel (Indianapolis), IN locations!

The successful candidates will possess exceptional management experience in a healthcare environment.  Ideally, they should also have excellent business and customer service skills as well as a commitment to excellent patient care. This person must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, independent, a proven leader, and have a positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as liaison between the practice physician(s) and employees and HerMD’s corporate divisions.  Corporate divisions include: Human Resources, Marketing, Billing and Coding, Provider Education and Compliance, Applications Support (PM), Operations, Finance, IT, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Chief Officers.
  • Responsible for day to day operation of the practice with guidance and oversight from practice physician(s).
  • Responsible for administration of HerMD and practice policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Assists in establishing, updating, and implementing practice goals and objectives consistent with the practice physician and HerMD’s directives.
  • Develops and supports a clear communication plan to ensure the timely and effective flow of information and resolution of patient concerns and complaints.
  • Develops and maintains practice forms and other documents to maintain consistency with other HerMD clinics.  
  • Reviews and approves employee payroll and time and attendance requests and maintains employee records (in coordination with Human Resources and Finance/Payroll).
  • Assists practice physicians in developing and evaluating quality assurance programs.
  • Responsible for the coordination and roll out of physician schedules in HerMD’s practice management system (PM).
  • Responsible for scheduling employee assignments (phone schedule, front office, back office, etc.).
  • Ensures that practice is appropriately staffed. Works with Human Resources for supervision and evaluation of practice employees and recruitment, hiring, status and classification changes (i.e. part time to full time and/or Hourly/Non Exempt to Salaried/Exempt) and orientation of new employees, employee Leaves of Absence (i.e. FMLA), etc.  May also work with Human Resources for employee performance concerns, disciplinary action, and terminations.
  • May conduct staff meetings, develop agenda, etc. 
  • Works with a Billing division staff member for any billing questions, patient complaints, charity approvals, payment plans, etc.
  • Works with the IT department in ordering equipment (i.e. computers, phones, printers, etc.) and equipment set up, installed, etc.  Coordinates through IS Help Desk other IT, EMR and Applications Support issues/concerns that may arise for the practice.
  • Oversees and approves ordering of clinical and administrative supplies for the practice in order to ensure consistency with HerMD’s guidelines.  
  • Coordinates any additional training for practice staff members, if necessary.
  • May be responsible for the P & L for the practice.
  • Oversees and/or assists with payment approvals with the Finance division. 
  • Attend all assigned meetings to create, foster, and ensure we are developing best practices within the office. 
  • Conduct new employee practice training.
  • Track/approve employee PTO/vacation requests.  Responsible for ensuring that the clinic is appropriately staffed.  
  • Coordinates badges, keys, and/or locks for team members and physicians.
  • Responsible for the practice compliance and new hire/annual training.
    • Scheduling and running bi-weekly employee meetings.
    • Scheduling and running monthly aesthetic planning meetings.
    • Managing internal office communications.
    • Holding weekly one-on-one meetings with direct reports.
    • Manage all relationships with local business development partners.
    • Attend and manage partnership events in order to generate leads.
    • Oversee all HerMD events within the community.
    • Manage relationships with third party vendors and suppliers.
    • Supporting marketing team initiatives, including specials and events.
    • Resolving patient / client requests and complaints.
    • Responsible for hitting revenue goals.
  • Undertakes other duties and special projects, as assigned.

Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.

3 – 5 years of management experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.

HerMD is seeking two full time RN/NP Injector candidates to join our new full service med spa locations opening in Berry Farms (Nashville), TN, and in Carmel (Indianapolis), IN!   Successful candidates will have a minimum of three years of experience in operating lasers, performing skin treatments, and administering injectables and fillers. Ideally the successful candidate will also be comfortable with the sales and marketing aspects of their role, including their meeting with local businesses to assist them in becoming more familiar with our med spa’s services.  The successful candidate should possess a commitment to excellent patient care and be able to work well under pressure. This person must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a positive, professional, attitude and a passion for aesthetic medicine! 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform aesthetic treatments and services, including Botox, fillers, facials, peels, microneedling, laser hair removal and CoolSculpting.
  • Effectively inform / educate patients about our treatment / service offerings, and the importance of medical-grade skincare.
  • Help create and distribute in-office marketing materials to support events, products and promotions.
  • Maintain knowledge of available cosmetic procedures in the market.

HerMD is seeking full-time Medical Assistants n IN, TN, and KY  to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our women’s healthcare practice running efficiently. Our Medical Assistant will work directly with our healthcare practice staff performing administrative and clinical duties.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians and the medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties

Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams

Record patient medical history and maintain patient records

Explain common medical procedures to patients

Assist in basic examinations

Clean and sterilize medical equipment

Assist with in-office procedures

Our front office HerMD Team members are the first faces our patients see when they enter our building and therefore the successful candidates will possess a positive attitude, a smiling face, and exceptional organizational and customer service skills! We are hiring two front desk receptionists for each of our two new locations in Berry Farms, TN (11/28/22 open) and Carmel, IN (1/12/23 open).  These are full-time positions!  

Front desk reception responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Opening and closing office
  • Greeting and assisting patients and visitors
  • Answering phones and returning messages
  • Routing messages to appropriate channel
  • Entering Sevocity tasks
  • Checking in lab patients, alerting Clinical care team for orders
  • Checking in GYN patients and providing them with appropriate paperwork
