HerMD offers comprehensive, female-focused healthcare. From gynecology to menopause, sexual health, weight management, and medical aesthetics, our team of health care providers is here to address all of your healthcare concerns. Our flagship location in Cincinnati, Ohio also has an in-office surgical suite, ultrasound, and lab.

Our mission is to provide all women access to exceptional healthcare. HerMD accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare. Although we operate within an insurance model, you should always verify coverage by calling your insurance company and providing them with our tax ID number (47-3033016) prior to your appointment.

Insurance coverage varies by plan and the treatment you receive. Most insurance plans cover many gynecology, sexual health, menopause and medical weight loss care, including annual physical exams. However, some HerMD services are not covered by insurance, such as CO2RE Intima and Votiva treatments, vaginal Botox, and pellets, and others require pre-authorization. Please consult with your care team to understand potential cost and coverage. In the event an insurance claim is denied, you will be responsible for payment.

The annual membership fee allows us to offer technology-powered features and value-added services that provide you with greater convenience, comfort and privacy. The annual membership fee is paid to Her MD, Inc., the healthcare technology and management company affiliated with Somi Javaid MD & Associates, LLC that develops the technology and enhanced services Somi Javaid MD & Associates, LLC offers to its patients.
The annual membership fee covers costs associated with access to the Her MD, Inc. technology platform, which includes such benefits as online appointment scheduling, easy prescription renewal requests, and secure messaging with our care team. The annual membership fee also covers the cost of value-added, non-medical services, such as member-only events.

The annual membership fee is not a covered benefit under most health insurance plans. Payment of the annual membership fee is not a prerequisite for receiving medical care in HerMD offices. You do not need to be a member to make an aesthetics appointment at HerMD.

Your membership provides you with access to technology-powered features and value-added services, such as online appointment scheduling, easy prescription refills, and more. It does not cover the cost of medical care, including in-office appointments, virtual appointments, aesthetic services and medical-grade skincare products. However, many medical consultations and services are covered by insurance and we are proud to accept most insurance plans, including Medicare. Please consult with your care team to better understand potential cost and coverage.

Yes! As a member, you can visit any of our locations for both medical and aesthetic services. You can also see a provider via our telemedicine option.

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time. You can also put your membership on hold. You can do so by logging into your member dashboard and clicking on “Manage Your Membership”, or by contacting us at We’ll be sad to see you go, but understand that you may need to pause or cancel your membership. We’ll always be ready to welcome you back to the HerMD community!
